Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100-year flood plain.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture intends to award a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for an existing lease that is expiring in Somerset, KY. The Government requires office space yielding a minimum of 5,771 ANSI/BOMA office area six (6) reserved parking spaces onsite for Government Official Vehicles with 15 additional parking spaces located onsite or within ¼ walkable mile from the employee entrance of the premises. The space must be contiguous, and all services, supplies, utilities, portioning, and tenant alterations must be included as part of the rental consideration.
Note: Entities not currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at SAM.gov, are advised to start the registration process as soon as possible if intending to submit an offer for possible lease award. To submit a location for inspection, contact this office by 4:30 pm Eastern on July 15, 2022. Submissions by other than the owner or manager of the property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space.
