THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request is for information only and does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred associated to this request for capability information.
The U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Lexington VA Medical Center is seeking to sell used pallets. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, tools, and qualified supervision to remove approximately 1200 pallets per year from both locations of the Lexington VA Medical Center, Leestown Division, or Cooper Drive Division in Lexington Kentucky. The contractor shall be responsible for pick-up, loading and removal of all the wooden pallets. Pallets are of various sizes, wood, and quality. The Contractor will be responsible to keep storage areas clean and free of debris, such as broken pieces. Pick-ups will be conducted on an as needed basis within three (3) calendar days of telephone notification. The contractor shall sign a Selling Agreement.
All firms are invited to provide a capabilities statement to contribute to the market research for this project. The Contractor must have an active SAM.GOV registration for all awards (www.SAM.gov) and have the technical skills and financial capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements.
Capabilities Statement Will Include:
1. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address; and SAM UEI
2. Business Size per NAICS 561990 All Other Support Services (SBA small business std $16.5M) (small, 8A, HUBZONE, VOSB, SDVOSB, etc.)
3. SDVOSB and VOSB firms must be registered in SBA s Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov and provide proof of registration.
Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the Contracting Specialist by 3:00pm Central Time, February 20, 2023
