NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

Blue Grass Depot Contracting Depot Support Branch/Munitions and Industrial Base Directorate Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, CCRI-AIAB hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Pioneer Industries LLC., 155 Marine Street Farmingdale, NY 11735, Cage Code 66200, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source reasonably available under Exclusive Licensing Agreement.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.

This requirement is for the purchase of one new Army Water Heater (AWH) 400. Description: Heater, Water 400,000 BTU (WH-400) P/N 111244, NSN: 4520-01-566-6669.This is a PVI Industries Inc (A Watts Co) 51419 AWH400 Water Heater (modified with push rod) P/N 111244. The product will be used to replace an existing water heater of the same design and manufacturer. The new item will provide hot water to the Force Provider Program.

In accordance with FAR 5.207(c) (16), any other interested party may submit a capability statement by the closing date of this announcement. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses must be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5:00 PM EST, 28 DEC 2023, via email.
