The Mason County Fiscal Court is accepting separate sealed bids for general trades for alterations to 7 housing units. The work to be bid upon is described as follows:
- Contract I – Housing improvements including window replacement, foundation and roof insulation, new flooring, lighting replacement, water heater replacement, and construction of 2 new decks.
- Contract II – Sidewalk replacement.
- Contract IV- HVAC Replacement
- Contract V- Roof replacement, gutter, and downspout replacement.
Bids will be received at the office of the Mason County Fiscal Court until 10:00 o’clock A.M. E.S.T. July 6, 2023, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Sealed proposals for the contract shall be clearly marked on the outside of the container as follows:
“Sealed proposal for Mason County Senior Housing Project
(Designate either Contract I, Contract II, Contract IV, or Contract V)”

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed. These include Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. Further, Title VI Minority bidders are encouraged to bid.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
