NOTICE TO BIDDERS

CITY OF NEWPORT, KENTUCKY

Accepting Bids for Street Paving

The City of Newport, KY, will receive sealed bids until Friday, April 26, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., local time, at which time they will be opened and read aloud in the Newport City Building at 998 Monmouth Street for street resurfacing. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked “Baum Street Asphalt Paving Project” and shall be addressed to the City of Newport, Attention: City Clerk Tiffany Myers, 998 Monmouth Street, Newport, KY 41071.

Location Plan and specifications for this work are available from James W. Berling Engineering, PLLC, 1671 Park Rd., Suite One, Ft. Wright, KY 41011, at a cost of $50.00 per set. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and accept the lowest or best bid.
