Legal Notice for Bids

Notice is hereby given that the Graves County Fiscal Court is accepting Lump Sum Bids for complete substructure replacement located 4,500 feet North West of Ky-58 on Folks School Road.

Repairing Folks School Road Bridge

Scope of Work
• Disassemble steel grated bridge
• Remove and dispose of substructure
• Replace substructure with 3 bents with steel H pile and steel caps
• 5 gage Sheet pile at both east and west abutments with 60 linear ft x 16 ft long (to retain backfill)
• Reinstall steel grated bridge deck
• Asphalt approaches 100 ft both sides of bridge

The Fiscal Court reserves the option to use tax exempt status to purchase major materials, to be deducted from the contract after award. All materials and construction methods shall be governed by the current KYTC Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. All bidders shall be prequalified for bridge construction with the KYTC. It is the responsibility of the contractor to get Landowner Agreements for all work conducted off County Right of Way

Additional specs can be picked up at the Graves County Road Department. 1010 North 15th Ext. Mayfield Ky, 42066. All bids must be comparable to these specifications.

Said bids will be received in the office of the Graves County Judge Executive Jesse Perry, up until 10 am on March 9, 2023, at which time said bid will be opened and read. Graves County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
